How AugmentedSEO compares AI SEO courses

AugmentedSEO compares AI SEO courses using the same structured record for every course, a verification date for the facts in that record, and a published scoring model. The AI SEO Course Finder uses this methodology to match courses to six answers about experience, goals, learning style, freshness, budget and the kind of SEO you do.

What AugmentedSEO records for every course

Every course in the AugmentedSEO dataset is described with the same attributes, so courses can be compared directly rather than through reviews written in different styles.

Experience level
The lowest and highest experience level the course is taught at: beginner, intermediate or advanced.
Topic coverage
How deeply the course covers AI SEO, GEO, general SEO, technical SEO, link building, content SEO, programmatic SEO, local SEO, affiliate SEO and agency growth, on a 0–5 scale.
Format
Whether the course is self-paced, live, includes templates or SOPs, or involves hands-on implementation.
Community
Whether a community is included and what kind: none, limited, cohort only, a forum or an active community.
Update model
Whether material is continuously updated, refreshed periodically, refreshed per cohort, or static.
Price
The price exactly as the provider publishes it, in the provider's currency. Unpublished pricing is recorded as unknown.
Operating models
The kinds of SEO work the course is written for: client or brand, affiliate, lead generation, local, SaaS or ecommerce, and aggressive or experimental.
Verification
The date a person last checked the facts, and the type of source used.

How the 0–5 topic coverage scale works

Topic coverage uses a small fixed scale because a larger one would imply precision that nobody can defend. Each level describes something that can be checked against the course itself.

  1. Not covered.
  2. Mentioned without dedicated material.
  3. One module or lesson on the topic.
  4. Substantial coverage across several modules.
  5. A major focus of the course.
  6. The core specialty of the course.

How course recommendations are scored

The Course Finder scores every active course against your six answers on the AugmentedSEO server. The same answers always produce the same ranking. Each part of the score is weighted as follows:

Recommendation weights
Factor Weight What it measures
Objective 30 How well the course covers the goal you picked, using the 0–5 topic scale. AI SEO / GEO needs both AI SEO and GEO coverage.
Experience 20 Whether your experience level falls inside the level range the course is taught at.
Learning style 15 Whether the course is delivered the way you said you learn.
Freshness 15 How well the course's update model meets how much you need current material.
Operating model 10 Whether the course is written for the kind of SEO you do.
Budget 10 Whether the course's first-year cost falls inside your budget band.
  1. Each factor gets a fit between 0 and 1, multiplied by its weight. The weights total 100.
  2. When you say continuously updated training is critical, freshness counts 1.5× as much, and courses that are not continuously updated lose half their freshness fit.
  3. The weighted total is converted to a percentage of the weight in play, so adjustments never push a match above 100%.
  4. Penalties are subtracted for hard mismatches (below).
  5. Courses scoring at least 55% are eligible, and the top 3 are shown. If nothing reaches 55%, the finder says so instead of padding the results.

Penalties

Unknown means unknown. A course that does not publish its price is not penalised on budget, but every recommendation for it is labelled with the uncertainty. Missing attributes are never assumed to be positive.

How budget bands are calculated

Budget bands compare first-year cost in US dollars, so one-off and subscription prices can be compared fairly. A monthly price counts twelve times, an annual price once and a one-off price once. Prices in other currencies are converted at approximate rates, reviewed by hand, for banding only; the price shown is always the provider's own. The bands are free, under $100, $100–$500, and $500+.

How often is this data updated?

AugmentedSEO rechecks course facts against their sources at least every 90 days. The "last verified" date on each course is the date a person last checked the source. It is never updated automatically by a deployment or an unrelated edit.

Evidence labels

Official source
Taken from the provider's own page.
Member verified
Seen inside the product from a paid account.
Manually checked
Re-read by a person on the date shown.
Stale · recheck due
Older than 90 days. Treat the facts as indicative.

Independence

AugmentedSEO takes no affiliate commission on any course it lists. Every outbound link goes to the provider's own page, with no tracking parameters and nothing paid back to us. No course can buy a listing, a position in the results or a place in the directory, because none of those things are for sale. If that ever changes, paid links will be labelled wherever they appear and this page will say so before they go live.

Overall Best 2026 is an editorial award chosen by AugmentedSEO. It is labelled as editorial, it sits outside the recommendation algorithm, and the winning course is scored exactly like every other course. Any future sponsored placement will be labelled as sponsored and kept separate from both.
